2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers:

  • Personal data collected through this website (cobimanagement.eu) and its contact forms or email channels.
  • Personal data processed when you contact us for support, product feedback or business matters.
  • Personal data processed through our apps (FamilyLegacy, PulseWave and DressGenius) when an app-specific privacy notice is not separately published.

When an app requires its own, more detailed privacy notice — for example because it involves user accounts, subscriptions, health data or third-party integrations — that notice will be linked from the relevant app page and will supplement or replace the applicable parts of this policy.

  • Responding to your inquiries. When you contact us, processing your message is necessary to take pre-contractual or contractual steps at your request, or is based on our legitimate interest in operating a responsive support channel.
  • Operating and securing the website. Server logs and technical data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in maintaining the availability and security of our online services.
  • Legal compliance. We may retain certain records to comply with Belgian law, tax obligations, or applicable European Union legislation including the GDPR.
  • Handling privacy requests. Processing your identity and request details when you exercise a data subject right is necessary to comply with our legal obligations under the GDPR.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

This website is designed to function without advertising trackers, audience profiling tools or non-essential cookies. Server-side access logs are maintained for security and infrastructure purposes only. If we introduce optional analytics in the future, this page and the site's behavior will be updated before any such technology is activated.

6. Recipients and processors

Personal data may be shared with service providers that assist us in operating website hosting, email delivery, DNS, infrastructure monitoring or customer support workflows. These providers act as data processors and receive only the data necessary for the specific service they provide to us. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

7. International transfers

If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another approved safeguard.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account any legal retention obligations. Support correspondence is generally retained for the period reasonably required to follow up on the inquiry and to handle any related claims. Server logs are retained for a limited period consistent with security monitoring needs.

9. Your rights under the GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding personal data we hold about you:

  • Access. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification. You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure. You may request deletion of your personal data where no overriding legal basis applies.
  • Restriction. You may ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Objection. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability. You may request a machine-readable copy of data you provided to us, where processing is based on consent or contract.

To exercise any of these rights, please write to privacy@cobimanagement.eu. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on your request.

10. Complaints

If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Belgium, the competent authority is the Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), reachable at www.dataprotectionauthority.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence or place of work.

11. App-specific notices

Apps that include user accounts, in-app purchases, health or biometric data, notifications, location data or significant third-party integrations will publish a dedicated privacy notice linked from the relevant app page. Where such a notice exists, it takes precedence over the relevant sections of this policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, including its update date, will always be published on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the relevant app or website where feasible.
